Isul Kim

Isul has over 12 years of experience in the management of operations, event planning, fundraising, technology project management, creative branding and artist/talent management. She has worked with a variety of entities including Facing History and Ourselves, Frederick’s of Hollywood, and most recently was part of the management team for 10-time GRAMMY-winning artist and Queen of Funk, Chaka Khan. She is former independent music label owner and has performed and toured worldwide as a singer/songwriter, guitarist, bassist, and pianist/keyboardist. Born and raised in New York City and a Harvard graduate, Isul is currently primarily based out of Los Angeles, CA. She also serves as a Board member for the Chaka Khan Foundation, which focuses on empowering youth and women worldwide, and provides management and artist consultant services to her favorite emerging artists/bands through her independent business Modern Mythology.
