The Founder and CEO of Tommy Boy Entertainment, Tom Silverman has released gold, platinum and multi-platinum albums by artists such as Everlast, Queen Latifah, Coolio, Naughty By Nature, De La Soul, Digital Underground and House of Pain, securing Tommy Boy as one of the most successful independent music companies in the world. He also created the New Music Seminar, an alternative music industry gathering, which was the biggest and most important convention in the music industry. He is a founding board member of A2IM and Merlin and also sits on the board of SoundExchange and RIAA. He has served on the boards of many organizations, including the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, NARM, and the Dance Music Hall of Fame, and the Greyston Foundation. This year is the 30th Anniversary of Tommy Boy.
